My husband and I stayed at the Lazy Den cabin and enjoyed our stay during our weekend! We originally had a different weekend booked, but due to personal schedule changes, we had asked to move our reservation to a different weekend. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to switch our reservation last minute! The cabin was very clean and neatly organized. There were snacks provided for us when we arrived. Having the outdoor area was great for a nice day, since there were outdoor games available (cornhole) and also had a nice fire pit during night time. The hot tub on the back deck was great to have for a relaxing weekend. The cabin was secluded and private, but also had trails available nearby. We were delighted to find a cute rock garden when we arrived, with a painting set available and a note from the owners that encouraged us to paint our own rock to add on to their garden collection. We loved our stay and definitely recommend Kick Back Ridge Cabins!

We stayed in the Cuddles Cabin and absolutely adored it! The hosts go through a lot of effort to make sure guests are comfortable. The environment of the whole cabin is so sweet and cozy. Kitchen is stocked with most necessities - but if you plan to cook a lot, bring some of your own supplies and all your own ingredients.

Visiting Kick Back Ridge was the perfect relaxing getaway experience for my wife and I. Our only regret was not having more time to stay! Reserving the cabin was a cinch. The cabin exceeded all of our expectations, it was out-of-the-way but easy to find by clearly marked signs. We easily made ourselves at home and appreciated the attention to detail with the decorations and amenities. We were impressed with the restaurant options and shops in the nearby charming town of Chillicothe. We visited a trendy coffee roaster, Apollo Records, The Pour House, and a variety of shops and antique stores. We plan to return in warmer weather so we can explore Tar Hallow State Park’s walking and bike trails. If you go, don’t forget to leave a note in the cabin journal or contribute to the rock garden. We stayed in Cuddles Cabin in 2018 and enjoyed it so much that we went back to spend more time there this year. It's so cozy with the jacuzzi tub and the fireplace! We like to stretch our dollars, so we bought groceries and took advantage of the kitchen and outdoor grill box. The snacks and complimentary wine that the owners put in the cabin for us were a nice touch. The 120 acres of hiking trails on the property were a great way to stretch our legs and experience the beauty of the autumn leaves.

Had the best time there. It was even better then the pictures. I have been going to hocking hills for years and this was the best cabin I have stayed at. They pay attention to every detail. You made our birthdays special. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
